It is a MMORPG of new generation, where the genre of steampunk will be revealed to a full extent. The game’s story is set in a new, interesting and unusual world, full of adventures. Some ore material called “Black Gold” exists in that world. This is not just a usual resource providing power for steam engines, but also a sacred material possessing a magic power.

Energy, “Dark Steam” combining magic and the power of steam can be extracted from the “Black Gold”.

The world consists of Erlandir and Izenkhorst lands, which are separated by an enormous Thunder Range. Due to the tops of the mountains, screening sun rays, the sun lights only the Eastern part of the continent. That is why Erlandir is always sunlit, while Izenkhorst is in eternal shadow. 

Abundant sunrays, warming Erlandir, have created good conditions for formation of rich underground natural resources. The elements were constantly accumulated and joining each other, creating a miraculous material called “Black Gold”.

People, Koshes and Brutes, living in Erlandir, were powered by the energy of Black Gold. Their lives completely depended on that material. 

In Izenkhorst Dwarves, People and Vampires, having emigrated from Erlandir, formed the Steam Alliance. For the sake of their country’s development and creation of civilization there they used the steam technology developed by Dwarves. But as a result of the war and overproduction they ran out of crystal coal the steam technology worked on. And then the ambitious king of the Alliance, Beltine the Second, created an enormous army in order to capture the “Black Gold”, because it many times exceeded ordinary coal by its properties.

Exactly at that moment the player is starting his story. Having joined either Erlandir or Izenkhorst he is supposed to decide who will run the world.
